Hand model of the brain

The part of the brain that is responsible for self-regulation is interconnected with the lower parts of the brain that process emotions. In this video, Dr Goodall uses Siegel’s (2010) hand model of the brain to explain how increasingly escalating emotions can make it difficult to self-regulate.
