Disaster resilience education for young people: Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience
Disaster resilience education provides young people with knowledge, skills and understanding to help them take appropriate actions before, during and after an emergency or disaster. The Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience provides education resources for parents and caregivers, educators across early learning, primary and secondary, and emergency services to help teach students about natural disasters and ways to keep communities safe.
