Learn how to draw out the strengths of specific groups of students.

After completing module 5 you will be able to:

  • identify how a strengths-based approach applies to specific contexts
  • understand the particular needs of girls and boys in terms of respectful relationships education
  • identify elements of a lesson plan or approach designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and students with disability
  • customise a lesson plan for a student from one of these cohorts.
