Good nutrition and exercise are essential components for learning.
If your body is fuelled and fit, and if you've had lots of sleep, you'll be ready to take on the daily challenges of school and beyond. Your mental health is just as important. You will learn better when you feel confident and positive about your life, your relationships and your ability to succeed.
There are lots of easy ways to get regular daily exercise. Walking to school and playing a sport are two examples. Exercise helps you sleep better and feel more alert during the day. There are also exercises to keep your mind healthy. Perhaps you like to meditate, listen to music or just be with good friends who make you feel happy. It's important to get the balance right: eat well, get some exercise and take care of your relationships and emotions.
